My Gold Party was started in 2008 by January Thomas shortly after she married into a jewelry-dealing family and found out what she could get for her unwanted gold. She realized that there is a “gold mine” hidden in dresser drawers all across America. My Gold Party quickly grew to have independent representatives around the country who establish their own entrepreneurial business, who have paid out thousands of dollars for unwanted gold and enjoy making people just a bit wealthier.
